Life, a stage, we the performers in it!

This is from the few things I have tried to write. Though it did not come the way I wanted it to (I started with some thoughts n somewhere the path got changed) I just thought of putting it up here.

As I watch outside the window of my room I see a variety of scenes - a group of friends sharing a joke among themselves, a family seeing off their daughter, possibly to her in-laws place, a man running with a bag in hand, perhaps late for his job, a gloomy looking girl walking by the side of the road appearing to not be noticing anything around her!

I turn to look upwards towards the sky and I find birds flying high in the sky - they are flying at different heights, with varying speeds and in different directions, but they all seem to look alike, all having the same expressions. I cannot make out if one is cheerful, another is tensed or yet another is unhappy. Maybe, I am unable to notice their varied feelings, like I could find in the humans earlier, but yet I cannot stop myself from thinking that there is something that we humans have which possibly the birds don't! 'What is it?', I ask myself. 'Why do we humans seem to have such a varied set of emotions? What triggers these emotions? Is it the 'BRAIN'? Oh yes! maybe it is!'

Humans claim that they are the most special creation of GOD, because HE gave us the 'BRAIN' which he did not give to his other creations. But are we indeed GOD's greatest creation? Can't those birds think the same? Do we really understand if they have a 'BRAIN" at all?

I think the answer is 'NO!' I don't think anyone is capable of understanding HIS creation to any detail. Just look at that gloomy girl - why is she sad? Because she had some 'MIS'understanding with someone she is close to? We cannot even understand someone we are close to and we claim to understand HIS creation. Quite ridiculous!, I must say.

I think, HE has a mind we cannot understand! HE has made each of us in a 'special', 'different' way. How many humans are there on earth? Are any two humans alike? NO! HE seems to have used a set of qualities for each human, but it is noteworthy that none of the qualities in the set of one matches the other. Ad HE has made no one perfect! Perhaps so that we have a reason to live - to try to attain perfection.

To me, this life is a stage, we are the actors and HE is the director, scrip-writer and probably the producer too. We all have our defined roles, perhaps that is why our 'BRAIN' works in a certain unique fashion, to help us perform our role. But we as actors should try to attain perfection. HE seems to be a good director, helping us attain perfection even in difficult times. HE has written the scripts for our roles and sent us here to perform. He directs us to perform through a large part of this play called 'LIFE' but at the same time he gives us space to perform the way we want.

I feel that HE has provided spaces in this script to allow us to write our characters and perform the way we want. It is upto us as to what we do with these spaces - utilise them to improve our character or just flow along HIS script. Should we try to attain perfection in our character or just live with our drawbacks?

To attain perfection is tough, because we have now to write our script and that too to only fill the spaces in his already written script. But why not try it out? Instead of trying to understand HIS creative skills in others, trying to understand and judge a certain person's character, let us look into ourselves and understand ourself first. That may help us better - improve our character better. Nevertheless, this is easier said than done but attaining perfection in self is what should be the purpose of our life, I guess!
