ZOI IS SUCH A CREEPER. i can't see him as anything else now, he's a total froot loop and i love him for it.

I'd like to second Charlie's assessment of Zoi. He's a creepy weirdo indeed. He's a Druid King, but also an executioner. He wears many, many rings, and has many, many informants. He disembowels people, for crying out loud!

He's seriously scary, isn't he? Where Nephrite is bawdy and Kunzite is analytical and Jadeite is clever, Zoisite's most defining characteristics is that he is really, really scary, and possibly a bit mad.

Apsara? WIN!

oh yes. he is creepy mccreeperson. he loves new clothes and new corpses. i love writing him and neph so much, their personalities start edging everyone else out (well, truth be told, i never really looove to write endymion, and you all write kunzite so damn well i'm scared to try :P)

Doors only stay shut to cowards.
This sums him up perfectly, completely captures his essence.

A tangle of scarlet on loathsome wind, shafts of flame blossoming from abscessed carcasses at his feet. And then a great nullity, more terrible than all the macabre parade before it.
You know, I was planning to go to bed early tonight, but I think with this nightmare fuel in mind, I might just stay up until... forever. Yes, that's it. No sleep and no nightmares for me, thank you very much.
On a slightly more serious note, I love it when the fic goes dark. You have such a talent for exploring fear and panic and the darker side of humanity in writing, it makes me want to bow to you.

“Can it be a coincidence, Jadeite?” her voice is soft, but steady. “That as the last of the Shitennou joined the High Court, the first of the Senshi awoke among us?”
The Oracle rests her elbows on the balustrade, expression distant. “There are…forces working around us that we can’t command. Things awakening that haven’t slept long enough - ”Ooooooooooh, intrigue ( ... )

you know what my nightmare fuel is? that brilliantly sad fic of yours where jadeite is haunting ami. oh jesus. THAT, my dear, was nightmare fuel. need i remind you this story contains a giant temperamental pony from uranus? yeah, nightmare repellent, right there.

I find the relationship between Rahi and her Council most interesting. Clearly, she is supposed to be way more than a figurehead, she is their Oracle, and yet, they follow their on path, only vaguely influenced by her predictions and opinions. Clearly, Rahi has a more positive attitude towards earth despite being wary of the shitennou and their powers and influence. But where she is set on learning more, the Council is already preparing for war. can you tell i'm a political science major? no? :DDD i'm kind of geeking out more over the politics than the romance! i toyed with the idea of having the council make a real appearance in the story, but then, it's from jadeite's point of view, and it's ( ... )

Oh, the Jadeite/Ami story? That was fun to write, I love working with poetry! :D

But yes, the temperamental golden pony from Uranus ought to banish all nightmares, you are completely right!

i'm kind of geeking out more over the politics than the romance!
Well, just like you, I find SilMil politics very interesting, and you are exploring the whole thing so well. Don't get me wrong, the romance too is superb, but the politics, oh the politics make me swoon here. So much intrigue!

And more two more things:
1) Kunzite is married? Kunzite is MARRIED WITH (STEP)CHILDREN? And Thetis is his stepchild? Man, this is so, so good. Oh boy. This is good. This is going to lead to so much drama.

2) You wrote this fic with Mercury and Zoisite on this graveyard once. The one with the statue? Is that in the same verse as this?

Apsara, I think I better polish my little Queen of Angst crown and get ready to hand it over because you, my dear, are kicking me off my throne and you know what, you're making me love it!

Oh wait. Oh wait, oh wait, oh wait.
Is Thetis Beryl's daughter in this one? And is Beryl Endymion's aunt by marriage to his uncle or something?

OH NO.
Is Kunzite married to Beryl whose daughter Thetis is?

I think I need to lay down for a while.

beryl is endymion's...well...*twiddles thumbs* you'll see?

you are far too clever for your own good. i just can't lose you in this family tree, can i?

The whole family tree thing is right up my alley, I love it. Love, love it. The idea of cementing political positions through marriage is so... royal and medieval, it fits perfectly into this fic. I bet Kunzite and Beryl didn't tie the knot because they are happy fluffy swoony silly in love either. I think it's more of a respect thing, isn't it?
