So, today is two days after the fetus is legally "viable". And I was just here working and finally realized that the twitching I'd been feeling (and had just thought of as a muscle twitch) was actually the baby. My first thought: "Ugh. my godparents didn't name any of their 7 kids until weeks after they were born. they wanted to find out the personality of the child first.

i don't think that's helpful, just your post reminded me.

no worries.

My father left the hospital as "infant" and was called by two different names for about 10 months or so... before my Grandmother had his name officially changed to what she wanted (sorta... she just didn't want him to be an xxx the 3rd... so she changed up the middle name...)

heh yes. good luck :). we had it easy in my family: everyone is named after everyone else, with maybe a different first name or middle name. of course, you'd end up with names like John Dewey (called Jack) or Olin Cleve...
