During the first week or so of school, Mr. Frederickson has us write a very short paper -- "What It Means to Be 16." We then sealed them up and waited until the last day of school in which he had us read them if we wished. I don't remember why, but I choose not to read mine that day. Wow, that's really ironic that you read your letter yesterday.
I just found my letter yesterday too, and opened it and read it.
It seems to be quite similar to yours, maybe I'll post it sometime.

BTW, we need to see each other! I've missed having you to kid around with!!

I really like your letter. I read mine the day he handed them back, but I didn't think it sounded so different from anything I would've written that moment, if asked to. I guess that means I didn't mature at all this year? Oh well.
