Update on wisdom teeth: it doesn't hurt...at all. o_o I had them out about 12 hours ago and my mouth isn't even really that sore. Is this normal? I know Lauren got hers out recently and some of you guys in the crowd have some experience with this. I'm not feeling sick or in pain in any way, just sleepy and drowsy from the pain medication.

I had a really positive wisdom teeth experience, but I don't remember having much pain either. *shrug* Good luck with the healing process! Hopefully yours will go as easily as mine did.

I think I might have gotten lucky, mine were pretty much all the way in when I got them out. So far, the worst part was getting stuck with the needle (owie!) and then not being able to eat for like five hours after that.

You think talking about this so much is going to jynx my good luck? Uh oh.

I agree, the needle was the worst. Especially the roof-of-the-mouth ones... I did find the laughing gas rather amusing, though. ;)

Oh, yeah, jynxing is definitely something to be concerned about! *shuts up*

Owwwwwww, I didn't get any roof-of-the-mouth ones. O_O You poor child! I just got one sticky needle in my arm.

mine didn'y hurt, but my mouth wouldn't stop bleeding for days.

I had some major discomfort, but then again, mine were fully developed, but literally had *no room* to come in, so they were jammed around down in my jaw. I imagine that contributed to the problem. Just make sure to always take those painkillers, cause it's the worst when you wake up at 3:00 AM from the pain that crops up after the pills wear off...

when I got mine taken out two years ago, it didn't hurt but i got sick from the sedatives / pain killers they gave me.
