So this is probably the first time I've spent Easter all by myself - I didn't really want to take any time off to go back to Luxembourg (or rush there and back for the long weekend), and my undergraduate flatmate's gone home for a few weeks

Some peace and quiet is very welcome. OK, the last two weeks have already been fairly quiet, with the OODS "Magical Mystery Tour"* and Microcon out of the way. Both were good, though Microcon suffered from (among other things) a complete and utter lack of publicity

As fastfwd opined during her self-interview on the Sunday, Microcon deserves a much larger audience. I really enjoyed myself, and would be delighted to be invited back.

That's why I volunteered to do publicity for the next one.

I don't know if I'll do a good job, but doing a job at all would be a significant improvement...

No promises about inviting you back. Not my decision this time! I may drop hints where appropriate, especially if you promise to drag Kevin along.

I only mentioned it in the context of underlining my enjoyment of this year's event. I certainly wouldn't expect the 2009 committee to be worrying about their GoHs this early in the game.
