Other business first, Graham is pushing ahead with the Hackerspace project. We're trying to set up a first meeting with the handful of people that have expressed interest (via Twitter etc.), which looks like it'll be next Tuesday (the 22nd). I should probably link to the Forum and Wiki Graham has set up at some point. There, that's that done.

Beetroot brownies? Sounds slightly... wrong, but I suppose that if carrot cake works there's no reason why beetroot brownies shouldn't. The secret ingredient is obviously the alliteration.

I saw the pictures of the ginger beer, although I didn't manage to piece together exactly what happened...? I've made ginger beer a few times using this recipe: http://www.vurt.co.uk/2005/06/15/GingerBeer/ - which obviously isn't very authentic, but the result is perfectly drinkable.
