It's almost a brand new year, which leads me to wondering what I'll be doing next year. As it is right now, I can't help but feel that big changes in my life are lingering around the corner, and I can't help but fathom just how far I'll go. But before that, I have a lot of things that I need to get done and out of the way, so that next year will be ( Read more... )

"I'm realizing more and more every day that everyone has their own life to be responsible for, and that I shouldn't hold myself back while I watch others go ahead of me, just to be nice, or because I'm nervous of the consequences."

That's how I'm starting to feel now that I've got my own space, and I don't have "well it would bother your parents" as a blanket "don't bother" waiting for me in my brain (even when it wouldn't make sense)...

What kind of things happened this year that might have given you the opportunities to change?

It's good to look forward to a fresh start :) But don't forget, it's just a calendar page; you can start living that way right now. :)

Also don't say "Bright Laid", you're making me think inappropriate things about that care bear raccoon with the light bulb on his paunch.

I dunno exactly where it came from. I suppose now that I've started to make more elaborate plans to execute on my own, where as before I would always seek guidance from my parents or something. Now I let myself make mistakes and learn form them. That and always peering into the window of the furry fandom. Just one too many whiny complainative sad sacks that are never happy with what they do have, and only cry about what they don't. They say lots of things like "Sigh...it must be fun." But to things that are so easily attainable. Like they're just waiting for life to plop everything they ever wanted into their hands. Its disgusting. And in that I decided to try to not be that kind of person.

Awesome! Go affirmative action :)

I was always afraid to do that until I moved out, but now I'm (gradually) starting to take things more by the horn... my excuse for inaction is gone, and I'm proud to say that so far I haven't just cooked up another one! But I admire you for just picking yourself up :)

Oh, and I can't say the actual name of the store. You can get in trouble for that for some retarded reason. But by not actually naming names I can say what I want.
