Now I am really homesick for Milwaukee. I wish I could move back right now. It's not like I would do anything more productive there than here in Cincinatti, i.e. doing any of the things I claim to want to do (places to visit, events to attend, people to meet, restaurants to eat at) because

Columbus is a really cool town! I have visited an LJ friend there twice and always had a good time. I didn't realize that it's the biggest college in the US there, and the people are mostly young and cool as a result.

Sorry you aren't liking it more in Cinncinatti isn't there a black mayor there? and Jerry Springer is their claim to fame. They always seem to be the place of interest on COPS when I tune in. :P

Cincinatti is holding their first ever mayoral election. Which I will get to vote in. Previously, the mayor was choosen from the city council internally.

With the primaries over, there are two men left, Pepper and Mallory. They are both technically democrats, but rather tepid and medicore in my opinion. They are so lukewarm, that I am voting for Mallory just because he is black and Pepper is white.

Being in Cincinatti has made me appreciate Milwaukee politics SO much more.

Get your ass on a bus and come visit me bitch, I miss you, I realized I am the one who dropped of the face of the Earth, but my life has me trapped here so I cannot come to you. My college, death trap that it can be when you live and work here is very lovely and peaceful, it could be a nice break.

Greyhound service to and from Cincinatti is ridiculous. It takes twice as long to get to Milwaukee from Cincinatti as from Louisville to Milwaukee but Cincinatti and Louisville are the same distance from Milwaukee. It wouldn't be worth my time and money to come for just a weekend and I may not have much to do here, but I am still required to be here. I probably won't get to escape Cincinatti until Winter Break and then I am going home...
