Yuletide Letter 2014
Dear Yuletide Writer,
First off, thank you for being super awesome and partaking this year! It's my first time, so bear with me and feel free to hit me up with questions/further details/anything else I might've forgotten to include here. (You can also find me on AO3 and tumblr, if either of those options are preferable.)
Now on to the specifics...
Things I adore:
- AUs. I have a vast array of interests (e.g. academia, crime/heist, harlequins, mythology, sports, steampunk, superheroes, rule 63, etc.) so hopefully that opens things up a bit if you're not 100% confident re: keeping things perfectly canon in any of the fandoms I've listed.
- Romance. Give me pining, jealousy, misunderstandings, courting, awkward first dates, meet-cutes - all that rom-com goodness. I'm also a huge fan of the arranged marriage trope or falling in love with the ~wrong person/someone you're not supposed to (e.g. While You Were Sleeping, You've Got Mail, The Cutting Edge, etc.).
- Slice-of-life fic definitely welcomed. As is team-as-family/general group-oriented stuff.
- Sex is awesome, but not a requirement. If you do feel like writing something porn-y, pretty much anything consensual goes. I'm a big fan of riding, light bondage, toys, semi-public sex, and frantic/desperate moments as well as sweet, playful ones.
- Happy endings would be nice, but I'll settle for something on the hopeful or more ambiguous side.
What I'm not at all interested in is: character-bashing, non-con, bestiality, incest, gratuitous/unnecessary violence/death (i.e. going over the top and beyond canon).

Meg Pryor, Sam Walker
Man, I would absolutely love it if you would write some Meg/Sam - pretty much anything not angst-ridden or depressing would please me (just give me what the show never followed through on). In terms of scenes to use as reference points, here's a picspam with lots of great moments to choose from. If these two aren't your ship, I'm totally cool with gen Sam-Meg friendship/bonding over music and hangouts.

Better Off Ted
Ted Crisp, Veronica Palmer, Lem Hewitt, Phil Myman
My beautiful satirical, misfit, cancelled-far-too-soon show. Veronica Palmer will always be the woman I want to be when I grow up. I'll be happy with any combination of the characters listed, but you will have my undying gratitude if you throw in some Ted/Veronica, one of my favorite ships ever. If you're not in the mood for writing them as a couple, then I'll be satisfied with any sort of Phil & Lem shenanigans and Veronica & Ted either partaking in the madness or cleaning up the mess. Plus, tons and tons banter of course.

Carmilla (Web Series)
Laura Hollis, Danny Lawrence, Carmilla Karnstein

I know Laura's the hero and Carmilla is, well, Carmilla, but Danny is my absolute favorite. I'm down with the ot3, but anything Danny-centric (super into the werewolf!Danny stuff) or generally Laura/Danny would be lovely. Also, cameos from the rest of Team Redhead are most certainly welcome. :D

Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun | Monthly Girls' Nozaki-Kun
Nozaki Umetarou, Sakura Chiyo, Hori Masayuki, Kashima Yuu

Oh man, what do you ask for from a show that's practically flawless? I'd be stoked to read something sweet and fluffy and romantic featuring either Sakura/Nozaki or Kashima/Hori, but general cuteness with the four of them (and the rest of the ensemble) would do quite nicely as well. I'd like to see some role reversal where Nozaki is the one being all adorably flustered over Sakura's words/actions. Maybe something involving the manga or a school play? Ugh, sorry this is so vague.

There's such a dearth of fic with these two that I don't even know where to begin. Give me canon P.K./Carey celebrating winning gold at the Olympics or a wild west AU with P.K. as some hotshot gunslinger and Carey as the town sheriff. Anything with these two being dorks in love is enough for me.
