LOL k-rude, first of all. I was not actually expecting some sort of love letter in a form of a dedication because that would be seriously weird. I rather our declaration of adoration be kept in private during emails and Tumblr exchanging because PDA is seriously overrated. OKAY. I felt I should clarify that with you before going to the good shit.

Honestly, I am not sure how to describe my feelings over this first bit of your fic. The thing is, after you been hying it up and sending me spoilers for the past couple weeks, I sort of get lost in my emotions but I have come to realize I fucking love your head. (You see, I was trying to go for, like, a false start, A.) Like, it was the cutest thing ever. Mark trying to figure out Eduardo's deal because no one can be that great of employee. Like, no one can. And I still love the little backstory of Chris and Eduardo knowing another from a mutual internships. I bet they break bread over the hilarious misfortunes of Chris being a whipping boy and Wardo being like a weather genius.

OKAY first thing I saw was the word count and thought HEY-OH, nice, 4k. But actually it went by ridiculously quickly and didn't feel long at all which says quite a bit about the flow. Your pacing was just right (and suited to Mark's POV) and I think your transitions are fine.

This hits all my buttons regarding my love for ridiculous self-indulgent fluff (EDUARDO WITH A TIGER CUB, WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO ME!). Like, these sweet AUs are the absolute best and you've captured the lightness and the mood perfectly. And your Mark POV, again, is really wonderful. I love his inner voice and I LOVE how specific and Mark-like his world view is. The line "Mark just has to figure out what his game is" jumps out particularly because of course, OF COURSE if Eduardo doesn't fit into Mark's pre-conceived notions of what people are then there must be something the matter with him

Oh my god, the most ridiculous thing is that I was really annoyed that it was only 4k before I finally got around to posting. The pace was part of that reason. But I'm glad it all worked for you.

Ugh, Adriana. Eduardo and tiger cubs are two of my most favorite things ever. SO I AM GLAD THAT YOU SHARE THESE FEELINGS. Also, it only gets more self-indulgent from here. And I am so incredibly pleased that my Mark voice works for you. [Especially since all my fics right noware from his POV, haha.] As well as my descriptions of Eduardo and everyone and the silly little movie references I've thrown in there.

WOW THIS IS A GREAT START. Ohmygosh, latenight talk show host! What an awesome AU. Eduardo with the cub - far out, that was adorable. Dustin and Chris are freaking fantastic characters. Dustin is hilarious, as he should be. Mark and trying to figure out Eduardo's ulterior motive. HAH.
