I'm now the owner of three iPods. My first iPod is a 2nd generation 4GB mini in green which I originally purchased as a music player suitable for taking along running. The iPod touch doesn't appear to have Bluetooth, or if it's present, may not be active. AFAIK, the iPhone does have Bluetooth, which would be the best route to an external keyboard should a third party with sufficient stones come along with one.

The thing I'll miss most about my Palm is Graffiti. If there were a toggle in the iPod touch to turn the regular finger-nudging behavior into something resembling handwriting recognition, I'd be very happy. The onscreen keyboard is impressive too look at, but not that great to use.

I'm in love with my Sprint Touch Diamond. I'll write a full review in a couple days, but here are the basics:

3G
full VGA (that's 2x the resolution of the iPhone)
WiFi
GPS
3.2 megapixel camera
and it's small.

I'll cry the first time I drop it.
