Looks to me like I won't be able to play at the next Marching Band gig, if we're playing at 4pm, cos Q Without U are recording stuff at 12, and by the time we get everything set up and stumble through the songs (we've had no rehearsals recently), the chances of my getting to Mono for 4pm are slimmer than a Slimfast-addicted giraffe

I'd sent the half-completed song to Pete and he said to me on Saturday that we should totally Balkan it up.
I think that's the first time I've heard the word "Balkan" used as a verb.

Although it seems I won't be able to record the rest of it on Saturday, so I'll have to make do with finishing the lyric in between painting skirting boards and making tea. :)
