Art seems like a cool career path, but since I have Asian parents they're probably not going to be so happy about art although I do well in the subject. I mean they encourage my artistic skills but they'd rater me take it as a hobby, but that's a really cool job, hope that works out for you. :D

Yeah, I come from a line of lawyers. My older brother is going to become an engineer. My step-mom sort of hit the roof when he said that but me going into art made him the official golden child.

this is my second semester of my first year as a college student, & I struggle basically every day. I don't know quite how much of it can be attributed to being an aquarius ( my rising is cancer & my moon is scorpio) BUT I know exactly where you are coming from. I cant commit to anything completely and have yet to be sufficiently satisfied, but equally I love learning... ANYWAYS, nothing is set in stone, dont let it stress you out too much.

sorry this is so long.

I'm a junior & went from a European Studies and Spanish/teaching major (lots of job opportunities with Spanish, but quite difficult if started late) to a European Studies and history/teaching one. Eh, pretty boring story but job security is all I'm after.
You definately have time to think about what you want. Most people take classes in a variety of different departments their first year of college, maybe something will click there.
Not sure what minute I was born so no rising.

Wow, how's the army working out? Seems scary, even though you're just a journalist,I mean all those reports about the Taliban and stuff. I wanted to be a writer at one point but then I realized I hate writing. I wanted to be a psychologist for the same reasons but then it probably wouldn't be suitable for a crazy person giving out advice to equally crazy people. I'm leaning towards aerospace engineer but then I need money and brains for that job.
Sigh.

I wanted to be an architect, computer programmer, engineer, seamstress. As a kid, I liked programming our Commodore 64. I volunteered at a campus radio station. I got a bachelor in fine arts, then went to college for TV.

The thread that ran through my interests was that I liked working with computers and equipment, and that I love paying attention to details.

I'd say, try to find one thing that is in common with all the things you like to do, and work from there.

However I got to my 30s and decided that I had to do SOMETHING and just forget about experimenting and concentrated on one thing (TV). I still love sewing and crocheting and I do that to express my creativity etc.

You seem to be a lot like me, interest-wise. I'm powered by science and math and a touch of art, and aerospace engineering is my current interest at the moment, but so is aviation (those sexy pilot hats!)
That's what I'm trying to find right now but the more I learn about, the more confused I become. I wish I was like those kids who know exactly what they want from the moment they're born.
