This entry was meant to be posted 2 weeks ago when the news was still fresh, but due to laziness and boredom with the internet that I've been feeling lately, it's coming up now on my mid-week day off from work.

Thanks for the feedback Vicki. I would have rather seen Capote win Best Picture (I didn't see Munich or Good Night and Good Luck) and Best Original screenplay over Crash because I just couldn't overlook the unnatural and forced dialogue in Crash.

I haven't even seen any of the others but Brokeback and Crash, but I would have been less surprised to see ANY of the other Best Pic noms win over Crash. Crash was clearly a total stroke job for the Academy members, patting themselves on the back for having the guts to live in L.A. and be white at the same time. God.
