The Muppet Christmas Carol is by far the best Muppet movie. Don't get me wrong, I love the muppets. I just thought that it was silly of me to expect something more profound from puppets...
But I love the Muppet Christmas Carol. And Muppets Take Manhattan is also a movie after my own heart...
Yeah I know, I can't get enough of the diva in Miss Piggy. I'm actually quite sad because I use to have a stuff animal Miss Piggy from McDonalds they gave out at Christmas one year, and I didn't find her when cleaning out my closet two weeks ago. I'm devistated, she's missing!!!! LOL. :-(
Wow... I think I used to have the same one. It was a Christmas one. She had on a red dress and a red caroler's hat. We also had a Kermit that had a Santa hat and a plaid vest and a Fozzie that had a red hat and I think a scarf...
That reminds me, I should check my house and see if I have it still too...

I must protest. A movie that you love as a child does not suddenly become a 'bad movie' when you reach adulthood... nor does that fact mean that you had no taste as a child and now you do.
The simple explanation is that children enjoy different things than adults do, and some movies are just aimed at children. (Just like some are aimed at men, another bizarre lifeform - although one that seldom continues development as a child usually does).
So let your inner child be okay having loved movies you've outgrown. It's only fair...
