basically: a lot of people came and then a lot of people left and then the catholics kicked everyone else out and started eating lots of pork so they wouldn´t come back (since they were probably either jewish or muslim, and neither religion eats pork) and then a while later there was a dictatorship and now there´s a king and a president. it´s loco. and boring. and there are a buttload of historical things that i just saw that mr. whitehead will tell you about or already has (La Alhambra, La Mezquita de Córdoba, stuff like that)
yeah, and they dub everything because it was illegal for it not to be dubbed when Franco (the dictator) was in power, so they think we´re idiots cause our humor SOOOO doesn´t translate and the dubbers are really bad. that´s my opinion anyway
hope your spanish classes are more fun than mine!
besos
Kat

AAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHHAHHAHHAA i love your version SOO MUCH more than mr. whiteheads. our class is so mean to him. victor told him that the game we were playing was lame and that hed make up a better one so vic ran class the next day. and chris is belligerent with him randomly calling out stuff like "can we do something FUN" its hilarious

better than my spanish class. The teacher writes something on the board, then someone asks a question and then someone asks what the word on the board means and then she finishes explaining it and then someone else asks what the same word means. And then someone will raise her (because this school is like, 80% boys and they never open their mouths) hand and say something completely stupid like "yesterday, I used the subjunctive" (well, "ayer, usé el subjuntivo"). Oh. my. god.
