We should go sometime! The one over here has some great deals but I bet the ones down south do too.
I actually ate mostly vegetarian before the break. It was for a variety of reasons: health, the interesting challenge of cooking complete and fancy meals without meat, cost, and an aversion to cooking meat myself.
Aw man! I can't wait to get back to cooking. ...but I am glad that my last 3 or so dinners before the break were super awesome and delicious: spinach and bean pupusas, asian stir fry and indian aloo gobi. I did make a key lime pie the other day though. My mother has been happy to eat the extra graham cracker crust that I can't eat off of my slices.
We should. I think this is a great idea for the next time we hang out!
I never cooked when I ate meat (but I was 14 the last time I ate meat), but I became a fucking chef when I stopped eating meat. Of course I'm always so nervous to cook for people--even other vegetarians--because I'm like I like how this taste bc I've been eating it forever. What if everyone else finds it grossssss? haha. But I do eat a lot of soy subs to make it more filling.
I do remember you had a veggie burger at The Counter, but I thought it maybe you just liked it from time to time.
pupusas! my aunt makes the BEST ones. btw. although we've never put spinach in them. sounds interesting. key lime is delish too.

Do you enjoy eating vegetarian or because your father's vegan?
