[Ami can be seen lounging somewhere in her bedroom, a pile of dog-eared books at her side, a cup of tea resting on top of it. She's sitting with her back propped up against her bed, knees brought to her chest and an open book spread across her lap. By the angle of the camera, her communicator is resting on the floor, looking up. Ami notices it ( Read more... )

Heh, you come up with some strange thoughts.

Eh? [That was a quick response. Ami made a point to remind herself that Okita-san's terse way of wording things wasn't necessarily scolding.]

Which ones?

I guess this came out of our conversation, didn't it? I wouldn't have asked if the time in other worlds would work like ours.

...is that strange of me to ask?

[Maybe stranger than the question was that Usagi had a definite answer.]

We're outside of time here. We don't really age here, and no one noticed anything was strange when I was home. And when we've been here from different times, no one's noticed that, either.

Then we should think of a way to use this to our advantage.

I don't know... I think Pluto was really worried about it when she was here. It shouldn't be able to exist like this, and it goes against the laws of time.

I was just thinking about how unfortunate for us that Setsuna-san went home...

[Fortunate for her, perhaps, but...]

[Well this certainly pinged this intellectual]

These are very good points.

I've heard of this "Earth" place once before, so I wonder if some of you are from different dimensional "Earths".

On Audrant, time worked twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, fifty-eight days a month, thirteen months, and seven-hundred sixty-five days a year.

Here in this place, do you know the time-frames? How many days are in a month and a year? Or is it unknown and we're all defaulting on the majority?

That's exactly what I'd like to know. And what is the majority?

Wouldn't it be helpful if we all agreed on something so we're all on the same page?

[Don't even get her started on asking about Audrant. She stores that away for later.]

I agree. It seems that there are similar holidays from each world such as this...."Christmas" that I had kept hearing about.

What will signify the new year? What are the months here called? Was it silently agreed upon by people from similar dimensions?

Perhaps someone should just make an official calender of some sort.

Really? You have Christmas as well? [Ami was very curious.] That would imply that there is some off-shoot of Christianity there--or was, at one point, wouldn't it?

Creating a calendar would be quite the understanding, don't you think? Not that I'd be adverse to doing it. But most certainly a team would be required.

They do have a habit of turning on when one does not expect them to, yes. You could almost think the little machines had a mind of their own.

[She smiles.]

I believe I can say with safety that I am from everyone's past. And this place most certainly exists outside of time - the Lords of Time have said so. Were anyone to know with certainty, it would be they. Lord Saxon, and the Doctor.

[And here, the smile falters a little.]

Perhaps in a few days you could speak with them regarding such things. Now - now is not a good time.

[Ami furrows her brow in concern.] I will not pry. Please let me know when is an appropriate time. Perhaps you could arrange a meeting?

[She nods, grateful that she doesn't have to explain, or explain that it is not her place to explain.]

I shall let you know most certainly. And if you like, I will speak to them about a meeting.
