Having never been to university it's something my mum just doesn't get either. It becomes routine pretty quickly, but it never gets more pleasant, end of summer term is worse ebcause the break's huge. Sometimes I feel like I'm practically homeless, a temporary human being. Roll on next year when I can finally settle somewhere for good.

I know exactly what you mean, that feeling of being in limbo because you can't settle in either place because as soon as you do you've hit the holidays! For all that its a horrible feeling, its reassuring to know other people feel the same as I do :) *hugs*

I can't pretend to know how you feel, but just remember that whilst the degree might suck, you've got lots and lots of friends to help you get through and you're nearly half way through the shitty year.
