This is amazing.

I was actually in the middle of making some textures for the first time (out of my own BB icons, so they're pretty boring) but this has opened my eyes to so many opportunities!

TEXTURE QUEEN SOUNDS ABOUT RIGHT TBH.

(also, win for using Breaking Bad ♥)

THANK YOU!
Oooooh, I want to see the results of your first venture into texture-making! BB caps are surprisingly good for textures, especially scenes with drugged-out Jesse!

AAAA OKAY THIS WAS SO GREAT!

Honestly I feel so silly having never thought about taking something RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY FACE (aka a cap) and making a texture out of it. Like ofc I've taken parts of a cap and used it to my advantage but yeahhhh. SO COOL!

I love how many things we do similar, hue/sat to change colors like there is no tomorrow!!! Same with inverting adlgaalkdgha

Thankfully, there's no rule that says you have to use EVERY SINGLE PART of the texture, and we can get rid of what we don't want.
OMG, PREAAAAAAAAAAAACH! I'm pretty sure have the tumblr textures I have - I'm in no way using 'em how the maker ~intended~ them to be used. The amount of times I've used something like this just because I like the hues in the shadow/clouds is ridic lol

Thanks for this, again! ♥

Hooray, I'm so glad you liked it! ♥
Caps are like the greatest resource ever, you don't have to do any scanning or photographing OR ESSENTIALLY ANY HARD MANUAL LABOR.

This was so much fun to read, and it's col seeing how you can transform even B/W textures into something popping with color! (Unlike you, I feel like I never have an intention with my texture use besides "make icon cooler/less boring." My use is just so random. I suppose that's why your icons look so elegant and like they somehow make sense.)

Making icons cooler/less boring is a totally legit intention, IMO, plus you probably have your own reasons subconsciously! Thanks so much and I'm glad you liked reading this (despite it being a wall of text and so poorly formatted.)
