Lost my preferred authorship at writing.com. Bummed about that, but it makes sense since I'm not so active anymore and life has no quiet time to spare me right now. Once Sasha gets a little older, it'll be easier.
1) One review on writing.com.
2) Two 30 minute workouts.
3) An hour of work on my commissions left over from the art show (that was in OCTOBER, sheesh).
That's literally it. That's all. Anymore than that and I don't have the free time.
By the end of this week, I want to submit whatever I can stand to send off to Threepenny, even if it's just the one sonnet I'm proud of. $200 a poem is nothing to sneeze at.
Once the semester's over I will have a bit more time, so I may start sorting all the mosaic crap I'm accumulated. I have a bunch of broken glass, beads, broken jewelry. I literally have a huge box full of mirror shards that I have in a closet with stuff on top of it so some wayward cat (likely Ike) won't get cut. If enrollment is down this summer, I may only be working the library job and not the college job, so that frees up some more time.
I still have this helicopter poem in my journal for Esther, but I keep feeling like it's not right, so I haven't posted it yet.
Okay, that's it for now. I feel a bit better.
