direct action - creative disruption and civil disobedience. if you think that standing around with signs is the most creatively disruptive thing that a group of people can come up with then i guess yes, standing around with signs. still better than sitting around watching tv. there are some good accounts of direct action on www.redpepper.org if you are actually interested in finding out about what it is
