if you get a chance, check out goodreads.com. i love this site. you can track all the books you've read. people make different lists according to genre, so it gives you lots of suggestions. if you go to explore and then giveaways, you can sign yourself up for free books depending on your tastes (usually only 2 or so books each time are offered of a copy), some are signed even!, people put up reviews and you can too, you can connect to your friends to see what they are reading. you can give star ratings and a bunch bunch more.

I joined and connected my Facebook account. Then- when I took the quiz that they promote when you join, it took the results (26 of 100 books) and dumped all those titles as status updates to my Wall. Hence my brother-in-law sent me a message to complain about the spam. Ugh.

I'm not that big a reader, but I value literature for what it is. Treasure for the mind.
