Mom was discharged from rehab on the 13th (god, seems so long ago now) because, according to the facility, she had attained her physical therapy goal. Good to hear that things are a little more settled with your mum. How did Frodo like Brooklyn?? I have this image of him going around on one of those tourist buses LOL

Frodo had a ball! He had his own room and got a lot of attention. Funny tihng -- one night, I made garlic bread for dinner, and the next thing I knew, Frodo had pushed his way into the kitchen and was walking around, sniffing the air. If he could've had an expression, it would've been something like, "Hey, where's mine?!" N'aw....little monkey....

I understand what you're going through with your mom so well, Ann, since things are just as hard with my mother. I wish with all my heart your mom gets better. You thought very well about moving - I hope you will get this job that sounds so good. You deserve some security, after let down after let down. I hope they will appreciate you for the great professional that you are and your life will move to a better place.

I hope October the 12th will bring back only the good memories and not the sad ones!
