"I've put this off for far too long." Not intentionally, mind, it's just that there are SO many things going on right now, that keeping up with LJ and fandom and so on has just gotten really hard for me. Oh no. C-diff is awful. My son had it when he was about six months old, so I can sympathize with how dreadful it is, how it affects one's body. *hugs you and your momma* I'm glad you worked out the assisted-home care, because both you and your mom need that sort of 'intervention', where everything isn't all up to you as your mom stresses. I can't imagine the pain of having to give in to that, but really, it's best.

I so hope you have better luck in the job market, too! *moar hugs*

Yep, it's really been a shitstorm, this year. Thanks, doll ♥ And btw, I'm always so impressed by how much writing you do -- I'm totally jealous. I haven't written anything for over a year, I think.

Wow, Ann, I've read the bits and pieces you put on Facebook, but now that I see the whole picture it looks even grimmer for you. You've been through a lot and it's not over. I hope your mother recovers well and manages to fight off the damn bacteria - the last thing the poor woman needed! I am glad you found a good place when she could get the medical assistance she needs.

The Berlin trip and the awesome rehearsal show sounds just like what the doctor ordered for you! You deserved the break more than anybody! I am happy that you were happy there!!! And envious, like any other fangirl ;)

It was magical, Mira. Although....really, it was way too expensive a trip for how short it was, but I'm not really regretting it. It's just that when I got back, I felt like I'd never left.
