Thank you, love - and a Happy New Year to you, too. *hugs you*

You're a very loving and caring daughter. It's great that you have your mum so close by now, but I'm sorry you have this worrying financial burden to bear. It's good that you're looking ahead and have a plan, and I hope the perfect job opportunity does come along very soon.

Take care - we're rooting for you! <3

Oh, my heart goes out to you and your Mom. It is such a horrible situation to be in. We had similar problems when my Aunt went into care in Tennessee.

I hope that it all gets resolved quickly.

Ah, the American health care system~ Luckily for my grandmother, she got some money because my grandfather was a WWII vet, and she got some of his (meager) retirement. Good luck for when you can get medicaid, hopefully it won't be too long for that.

And good luck on finding a new job.

There's a veteran's benefit we can get as well, but the application is a real dog. I have some of the required paperwork already. That will help for the time being, but won't solve the overall problem. Ah...Amerika ;)

Thanks for the support, hon x0

I really feel for you and wish all the best for you and your mom. My mom, who has alzheimer's is still able to be home, but I know that one day I'll be facing some of these same issues of care and finances.

*hugs*
