Aha - it has started raining, and I have cheered up. Seems I was feeling under the weather, almost literally.

Yesterday was the first session of the new society game. I had a character ready, which was a shy, retiring sort of person. But yesterday afternoon her personality grabbed me whilst I wasn't expecting it and now Bernadette Walmsley is now a loud and forthright jolly hockey sticks gal. I thought LJ was remarkably quiet yesterday. I came to the conclusion that I'd forgotten to log in. But no - I had logged in, but my friends page didn't update since about 9:30 in the morning. Woe woe and procrastinaty woe.

I got a set of ice lolly moulds for my birthday. First experiment was Pimms and 7-up (1/8 pimms, 7/8 7-up - half recommended strength on bottle). Success! Will do stronger mixture next time though.
