On July 22, at about 2pm, I finished reading Deathly Hallows on a beautiful green Virginia vineyard lawn.  At the same time, Devin (Uilnslcoap on the Quill), came out of the house, took my hand, and asked me to take a walk with him.  Eager to discuss the book and too elated to be suspicious, I followed him down the river walk to a little clearing

I'm - we're - so happy for you. I can't imagine a more perfect and a propos proposal time and place. It was an honor to be there that weekend, to share both the experience of Book 7 and of the engagement. Devin is a wonderful, sensitive, funny and caring guy. I have no doubt you two will be thrilled together.

And, (not to take away from the beauty of the moment), my god if bbennett's pic doesn't look like Ginny and Harry's engagement photo ;) Hrm....even more appropriate? ;)

The friends I made on the Quill changed my life too. I'm amazed all the time by what an impact Harry had had on everything that is personal to me.
