I was sneaking to friend you and I was going to leave a comment but as I was sneaking in the most literal sense, I had to close the window before I had the chance. I can see that you saw me though :) Welcome back, I missed you.
I'm still thinking we're going to get an R/H canon kiss, witnessed by a few people (including Harry) in the last book. A few posters at SQ seem to think that the R/H hair stroke was all that we'll get. AS IF! Yeah, JKR confirmed that she's been writing R/H, but come ON! Passionate Ron and Hermione NOT kissing in canon? You know it's coming.
And I just love how totally ON you got Ginny's character in your stories.
I'm just so happy that Ginny is what we all ("we all" meaning those of us who have agreed about this for years) saw there, just beneath the surface shyness - a strong, passionate, powerful, flawed, goodhearted, beautiful girl. We saw it lurking in her character every time JKR scratched the surface for us - when Ginny shouted at Malfoy in Flourish and Blotts, when she survived the diary, when she snapped at Harry and Ron about the girls they'd invited to the Yule Ball, when she patiently endured Neville's toe-mashing... Dozens of little things, all pointing in one clear direction.
And I'm so glad that she never really gave up on Harry. I mean... we knew she never would. We knew it; we knew what kind of loyal, deathless heart JKR had written for her, from she had from the moment she laid eyes on him at King's Cross. But to *see* it there, in black and white like that... I cried like an idiot. I warped that page of the book.
I love them so much. I love them so much. I have now officially
( ... )
Ohmygodshetalkedtome... Er, hi. I'm sorry about just dropping in so randomly, but it's just... well, I'm sounding like Lockheart to himself here, but you're sort of my hero. Or, you know, really my absolute hero a lot. And I thought you had completely disappeared, see, so I'm happy you're back. I've friended you and really hope you don't mind - like Coquillage said, I'm mostly harmless. I rarely bite, anyhow.
