"In less than a handful of scenes, Chang managed to create a joyful, memorable, awesome character with just the hint of an edge." - So true. I wish they replaced *any* other Heretic with him, so he could live for more episodes *sigh*

I know!!! I think the made three HUGE mistakes in season 07.

1. Better casting all-around for the Heretics.
2. Except for Oscar--who was AWESOMELY cast--but he should have been kept around around. History with Damon, awesome backstory, interesting ambivalence concerning Lilly and her rules.
3. Should have given us Damon/Elena flashbacks (we all damn well know there were cut D/E scenes we never saw--give us THOSE!)

Point being, Oscar (and Tim Chang) being in basically only one episode was a huge, wicked-dumbass mistake.

"Georgie was smart and sassy and I really, really liked her." - Me too. I was actually hoping for something to happen between and Alaric, so she could have some positive influence over him, becasue she came across as someone who could possibly become friends with Damon. Oh well. Not ( ... )
