I read an article that compared the Australian guide to the British guide and how the guys going to Australia were lucky bastards compared to the guys who got sent to Britain. The British guide has a big old list of things you shouldn't do there. ><

Really? Weird...was it put out by a different publisher in Australia? Usually Oxford doesn't change their prices in different countries. Other than India- textbooks and academic books are crazy cheap in India for some reason

I think it was done published by Puffin Australia, so they printed it locally. Might be the reason for the increased price -3-

Worth it though.

((Holy crap, I'm working in my room and this massive Galah just landed on the balcony and started screaming at me))

That's probably it...I have to admit I'm sorta irked I couldn't find a copy on the internet- the US government's usually really going at putting old stuff like that online. but it's cool- I'll just sneak it into my textbook order this week ><

and I totally had to google Galah to see what it is. OTL when I read your comment on my iphone I was so confused because it looked like "Gullah" and for a second, you totally broke my brain. XD

In I remember correctly, Australia has one of the strongest military forces in the world, so all be damned if someone messed with them.

you know you want to give in! XD

True, true! I'm just impressed that the U.S. Army actually told that to their soldiers- needlessly to say, the U.S. military isn't known for deflating the egos of their soldiers! That Pearl Harbor crack still has me giggling
