Nah, I knew as soon as I looked at it it was a bug. From the way it moved my gut reaction knew it was real. And my gut reaction also told me not to touch it either. From the wikipedia entry about the spines it has I see I am right. This is one of those "leave it the hell alone" bugs or a "use any means that doesn't allow it to touch you to get it the hell out of the house, now!" bugs.

The movement threw me off, too. At one point I thought someone had put a piece of fun fur on a caterpillar. lol. Deh me. ^.^ Yeh I don't think I'd want it in my house much, either. But it looks so pettable and cuuute!

It's probably the same thing. Apparently it's commonly known as a puss caterpillar because it "resembles a small persian cat". lol. It's found around Texas and New Mexico. You'd think it would be an arctic species being all furry like that. lol
