But whether or not you were some pretty boy that everyone fawned over...confidence especially if it comes not from any kind of moral convictions or sincere place it is just a vain, shallow, vapid facade for the world around you. Then you are nothing more than those people who have slaughtered your self-esteem. You have intelligence and wit about you, you have the ability to atleast empathize with people who feel exactly like you do. In general you have a lot more emotional depth and knowledge then those people who you claim you would like to emulate. You may wish for the blissful ignorance that easy life brings, but it will not make you an interesting compassionate person in the long run
