ljArchive is a tool for downloading, browsing, and analyzing journal entries and comments from LiveJournal (or LiveJournal clones). ljArchive is currently available for Windows, and may soon be coming to gtk/Linux. ljArchive allows you to do the following to your journal:
- Download and navigate a synchronized, local archive of your journal.
- Run custom plugins on your journal. ljArchive comes with the following plugins:
- Entry Reader - reads your journal entries aloud using text-to-speech technology.
- You may need an update from Microsoft.com to use this plugin.
- Regressive Imagery Analysis - provides a psychological profile of your journal.
- Word Count - provides a list of the words used in your journal, and their frequency.
- Post Frequency - graphs the frequency of your posts over time.
- Comment Count - graphs the number of comments left by users in your journal, and also how many comments you've left them.
- View/export entries and comments using a completely customizable HTML template system. You can customize settings for templates and also build your own templates.
- Search through your journal for keywords, and browse through search results immediately.
- Export your journal into various formats, such as XML, HTML, PDF (in conjuction with LJBook), and MIDI (yes, MIDI!).
A LJ Book is a book with all your entries extracted from your LiveJournal, DeadJournal or AboutMyLife.
It's a PDF Document ready to print. It's produced in about 3-4 minutes.
The high quality PDF is produced by LaTeX.

Cкрипт для сохранения всех меморисов и постов с комментариями любого юзера Livejournal-a. Скачав, может очистить HTML от sidebar-ов, менюшек и т.п. ненужностей, сконвертировать из UTF-8 обратно в человеческую кодировку, сохранить юзерпики и иконки, заменить относительные ссылки на абсолютные.

LJBackup is a GPLed (see LICENSE.TXT) win32 application for backing up and searching through livejournal entries. It currently supports the following functions:
- backup
- re-backup (from given date)
- re-backup (single entry)
- Displays text entry
- Display entry in default browser
- Filter entries by date
- Filter entries by keyword (on Entry, Subject, Mood, Music)
The LiveJournal Backup/Search Utility is a tool which has been written to allow users of LiveJournal to download their journals for backup purposes. The downloaded backups can also be searched, browsed and exported in a variety of different formats, including HTML, CSV and XML. It is also able to download comments others have made in your journal.
