longest summer ever
PEOPLE! WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT DOCTOR WHO:
So, season 6 is half over and now we have to wait until September to resolve the cliff hanger. THIS SOUNDS FAMILIAR.
So: River is Amy and Rory's daughter... SAW THAT COMING! But still, the whole Amy-is-a-ganger thing caught me completely by surprise. And we finally reached the mid-point in the River arc. Everything makes sense now! We've known for ages she kills the Doctor in the future, now we know why. But... the pictures in the orphanage from episode 2 of Amy and baby!River... does that mean the astronaut is River? Wouldn't see, ya know, remember that? I AM SO CONFUSED. I still maintain the Doctor killed in episode 1 wasn't the "real" doctor OR doesn't actually die for reals. Because Moffatt is a huge nerd and likes continuity between Old/New Who and we know the doctor goes through all his regenerations and becomes the Valeyard. WHICH I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO. So... he can't be dead. SO CONFUSED.
Instead, let's enjoy how awesome Rory is. HE IS MY FAVORITE FOREVER. He stood up to Cybermen. Rory, ILU. You can join Sarah Jane and Romana in the best companions ever club. (By the way, I finished downloading all the 5th doctor episodes last week. At least I have something to fill my summer with. I haven't even finished Four yet!)
Someone I follow on Tumblr mentioned the Silurian/human couple should have their own sitcom, and the Sontaran nurse could guest star. I totally agree.
So now I am burdened with waiting for Castle AND Doctor Who. I may go insane.
