Yesterday the boss gave us three ours to make a book cover! Three hours including reading the tale, a F-Scott Fitzgerald's tale, doing some research and actually making the thing! What a wonderful opportunity and so little time... This is one of the covers I've done. (Oh yes! I made more then one!) It won't get picked, but I had fun... in a hurry!

He sounds like a typical boss - sit on something for a week and then run around like a headless chicken cos it's become urgent!! grrr!!

I like that cover. Mostly the colors. How exciting you get to make stuff? How do you make them? How do you get your ideas? Are there guidelines you have to follow?

Well, thanks! In this case I had to read the story for inspiration, then I had a meeting with the boss to know all about the client's briefing and then I made some research and started working... In my case, ideas bring ideas. This wasn't supposed to turn out like it did, Things just evolved naturaly!
