One of the most interesting things that happened to me in Spain two weeks ago was the city of Léon.
That part of Spain has always fascinated me for a very special reason: Our nation's grandparents came from there.

Thank you for sharing this with us - I'm probably not going to get a proper holiday this year, so I can vacation vicariously through yours instead!! Lovely photos too!!! Hugs!

Thanks dear! But I think you should go somewhere too. I know, meet me in Scotland in September! It's near, it's cheap! I promise I won't damage your knee like I did with Highlander (story yest to be told... *evil laughter*)

Sonriendo.

Verdad... Pero nos visitan mucho!
But don't get me started on this one!

Laughing. Amazing post. You almost put tears in his eyes! Now he wants to go back there(more morcilla, yay!)
You are a hot woman, by the way. I had no idea Portuguese people had problems with Spaniards. They are at odds with all their neighbours!

Oh, Good, a morcilla fan!

Do we have problems with spaniards? Noooooooo! They just try to conquer us from time to time... Last time it happened they ruled us for 6o years...
Nowadays we still have a small village that it's not quite sure whether to stand on our side or theirs: Olivença or Olivenza?

Hot? *Laughing* Por supuesto que si! This is a very hot country and I am a very hot woman...especially today, I'm melting!

Bites lips shaking...amazing. It is me who loves you, ME VALE? and Allen is right...you look (Highlander? there is a knock on the door)
kissable and huggable!
Bah, those were other Spaniards! (I feel like Georgie Bush now)
El Cafetin y La Mazmorra, BABY WANNA GO! Was it the tall waiter? a very tall and thin man?

Yes, that tall waiter, he was very nice to Highlander.
Next time I'll go to las cuevas. Valporquero? I am still very sad because I didn't know that Altamira was closed, back in Cantabria, and there were long lines for the simulated caves.

Holidays in Sintra! yay! Sounds nice! You have such great friends, did you not see? You gave me Arafel! I'm beginning to treasure the idea of a new spanish invasion! Just don't let my grandmother know about it... she loves that old saying: "De Espanha nem bom vento nem bom casamento" (From Spain no good wind nor good marriage) HEHEHE!

Do you remember something you told me when we first met? I told you I was here hunting for stories and your replied that you hunted souls instead. I agree with you now. This is so much more. You are hunting my soul, dear Faust, but I know that while seating in the cafe that night, I also caught a glimpse of yours. :)

Really you don't think you are one of my online friends??Why else would you be on my friends list!:P Anyway, I miss your messeges, it's not everyday I get conversation with someone as intelligent and witty as you.:D I've just been bogged down trying to get the same job somewhere else. Hopefully I'll be able to update more soon.
