So why don't I feel excited about it?
We have a stupid saying here that goes: "God gives walnuts to those who have no teeth."
I think I sometimes forget I can chew. Maybe it's this heat... We don't have windows at work! I'm actually longing for some rainy days in Scotland...

Hahaha - what a brilliant saying!!! Chew, girl, chew!!! (though in my case, I need to do a bit less chewing - I'll get fat!!) :)

You want rainy days - *pause for mind to boggle*!!

Ai! Que sabes más que yo!

E los dulces? Porque me hablas de dulces!
Va de retro, tentación! ;)))

August boring? Barcelona is packed with tourists, you cannot even walk, puff! But yeah, most shops and bars are closed and we are all thinking about autumn.
Crusades? Is this a plague?

Boring! Friends are all absent, scattered in different corners of the world... Half the LJ people is out too.

I've been avoiding Barcelona because of the crowds. I think I'll try it in Winter someday. We do have our Tourists invasion too, but they let us walk! Well, not in Algarve, though... but I never go there, so...

Crusades a plague? Highlander always says something like: "It's not my fault everyone started suddenly appreciating the subject (maybe it's Orlando Bloom's fault? - my words here) I was into smelly crusade Knights, bloody battles and merciless infidels way, way before this epic movies/books paranoia started.

And I can say I saw him read Amin Malouf's "The Crusades Through Arab Eyes" years ago.

you say bla bla but your writing is never bla bla. Besides posting even when you don't think you have anything to say is good for soul somehow.
