glad to hear you are having such a wonderful time...
and at least it is not THAT cold in Portugal. I remember spending an afternoon at a beach near Lisbon on January 2nd, sun bathing... *lol*

That's the good thing about my country... Even in cold weather, the sun makes us believe it's much warmer. I love sunbathing in Winter.
What beach? Do you remember? Cascais?

No, not Cascais.
The train we took went there but we left it a couple of stations earlier. There was almost nobody on the beach we choose. But if I am not completely wrong I remember somthing like a castle on a hill quite close.

That's 5 minutes from where I am now! I work in the next train station, Parede... The castle is the "Forte de S. Julião da Barra", official residence of our Ministry of Defense.

I don't know which one was it... We were seating and we had the camera, first him, then me... we were trying to catch the maximun height of the waves in the rocks... but failed.
Surfing scene? I don't know a thing about surf but we are talking about Ericeira, they invented surf around here!!! There's even a surf clothes brand named "Ericeira Surf Shop"

I love that beach!! I'm aching for the sea at the moment - I love that sound ..... waves crashing on to the beach!!

The sound is amazing, like a distant thunder... and it makes the rocks tremble beneath our feet!

It must be hard to live far from the ocean. I work by it, just across the street there's a beach... I use I could use it some more, but just looking at the waves is great.
