I'm visiting at my mom's house this week. I'm sure I'll be busy helping her out around the house and playing with Erica. Yesterday I taught her how to sword fight and how to "die" when she got struck with the foam bats we were using as swords. She should be an actress. Her deaths were better than mine! It is hard to first live away from family, dear. I have to say it is something one eventually comes to get used to and even like, at least I did. The periods of enforced family closeness I have had since Katrina were not that fun for me.

Well...I've lived away from them for 2 years now. But...I still love coming home. I've got the coolest, most loving mom in the world. The best brother anyone could ever dream of. One of the world's most blonde sisters ever. The most caring stepdad ever. And the smartest, cutest, most precious angel of a neice in the world...ever! =)

Yep....coming home is good. =)

But all families are different. My boyfriend doesn't like going home because his mom is always on his case about something. She's so negative towards him all the time. So....yeah. It's not too good for him.

Summer school went ok. It just sucked not having a summer break. I've got another week and a half before school starts though. And it looks like I'll be graduating in May instead of December, but I'm ok with that. I was upset at first, but I looked at the bright side of it all, and it looks like this is for the best. =)
