SPoT 4 & 5 - First Impressions

Despite the fact that I have some reservations about Shin Tenipuri, it's definitely providing some amusement with the new chapters. Just some quick random observations.

I AM SO EXCITED!

I kind of do too, but whatever happens I'm sure it will be AMAZING. Konomi would seriously have to fail to not please me with that match.

Aaaaah, I finally caught up! :D

I cracked up at that Troika bit you wrote especially when I saw the panel that was associated to. xD; Yukimura's looking mighty fine, isn't he? *wibbles* I'm so happy that Konomi gave him a really nice panel!

The first few chapters were kind of meh, but I was definitely intrigued by the new characters. Particularly Irie and Kazuya -- I'm speculating that they're going to play a big part in the story. The brat is still as bratty as ever, lol, and the interactions between teams has been enjoyable. &hearts

You have no idea how excited I am for these crazy single matches! NIOU vs. YAGYUU! YUKIMURA vs. SANADA! FUJI vs. FUJI! (Though I sort of wonder how those two ended up as partners -- I thought Yuuta couldn't stand his brother? xD) *O* I hope Konomi makes the best of this, because it's definitely an interesting premise!

Oh, that bit where Renji and Inui both said "2M 16 CM" when the mental coach came out amused me greatly. xD;

Yukimura is indeed looking good - but I'm having a hard time determining just why he's been relegated to the background.

I'm really curious about what might be happening next, and am really excited to see these new matches!!!

Imaginging how the Fujis ended up isn't too hard:

Fuji: C'mon Yuuta, lets be partners! *grabs Yuuta's arm*
Yuuta: *pulling away* No! Get away from me, Aniki!
Fuji: *one arm around Yuuta's shoulders* Coach, I have a partner! (to Yuuta) You don't want to have to be Miyuki's partner, do you?
Yuuta: Mizuki. And it wouldn't be that bad.

Konomi better do an awesome job!!! I'm pretty excited for Sanada vs. Yukimura, and Niou vs. Yagyuu - I'm wondering just how crazy that game might be!!

I would love to see one of the high-schoolers whoop Ryoma. I would love to see anyone whoop Ryoma, really...maybe Nanjiroh can come and have a game with him?
