Getting sick, work BS and work politics

I am trying to get sick. Yesterday my throat was sore and my nose was sniffy. Today the sore throat is pretty much gone but I am congested and have to blow my nose every now and then and my voice sounds different. I did find a white spot in the back of my throat last night. I looked earlier today and now it mostly just looks red back there. It
