livejournal really is a thing of the past... ilovekonkon June 28 2014, 01:06:30 UTC
awesome! I follow you guys on twitter so I get quick updates on everything in realtime. I don't know about anyone else but I was seriously out of date with my j-entertainment news without arama! for me it has always been the best site because anyone could submit news at any time so the interests and bias of the people running it never affected the content. i know there's other sites like tokyohive but they're incredibly slow, I find their news unreliable and they often mistranslate vital information so I don't use them... things are changing quickly, but i have faith that you guys will stay true to the spirit of the community! you're moving up in the world and as your loyal members and followers we'll always be right behind you. never forget your humble beginning no matter how big the new arama becomes! here's to the rebirth of arama!

p.s. will the new site be easy to view for all browsers and computers and mobile users? i use a very old PC and my main browser is internet explorer (i know xD but my computer has trouble running other browsers) and a lot of other news sites have unnecessarily bulky layouts that slow me down and make me not want to visit.

Since nearly a third of our readers use mobile to read our posts, we optimized the layout so it would look correctly on a wide variety of monitors and browsers but I'll make sure everything looks perfect on Internet Explorer. Do you use any specific version?

internet explorer 6... it's one of the first versions released on windows XP... i don't know if it is still available. wiki says it was discontinued in 2006.

and unfortunately what made this community used to be fun was its user-generated content. Doubt it will be as exciting in the new platform
