I say stay true to yourself, Miss Aramei. I, for one, prefer natural beauty over the anorexic ideal of which America seems so enamoured. I remember drawing many of the fine arts models up at RISD, and they came in all shapes and sizes; consequently, I was always happier with drawing the one I was dating at the time. ^_^ She was curvy and delicious and physically as close to my personal ideal as I think I've found. (a shame she was such a hosebeast... ::sigh::)
Now I'll never dance with another, no... since I saw her standing there... ^_~
It may have been easier to respond to bandanas.I realize you were being sarcastic, but one's sense of self is, I think, far more important than anyone else's perception.
It's a little disturbing that she thinks (and I've never met you in person, so I'm guessing from photos on the numbers here) dropping a good 7-8% of your body is something to be so casually proposed.
wtf, mate? Don't lose ten lbs. Then you'll lose the beautiful curvature that your body has... I can't believe she said that to you...that's fucked up. I say this all from a sisterly point of view. (as we discussed the other day :) )
