Okay, twenty facts. These are going to be completely random because it's late. I'm too lazy to check for facts I've already shared/implied and I have to be up early.
1. I wear glasses and I have since I was ten-eleven, so I've been wearing them for 2/3rds of my life.
2. I hardly ever wear make-up because I can't be bothered to pay the necessary amount of attention to put it on.
3. I did Speech&Drama for nearly ten years which all but erased my natural accent so I'm mistaken for American by people frequently.
4. The first book I read for myself was 'The Hobbit'
5. I was three when Dad left the nightly reading on a cliff-hanger and I kept reading to see what happened.
6. I'm a chronic insomniac.
7. I naturally speed-read. I never learnt to do it but I always have read a lot.
8. When I was younger and going to stay with grandparents, my parents would have to check my bags to be sure I remembered to pack things other than books.
9. I sleep with a teddy bear (actually a Westie called Ach Eye de Noo) that my dad gave me.
10. I love history but I have a really bad memory for dates.
11. I used to play camogie
12. I am a part time Goth (see, make up & laziness)
13. I've been to Whitby though never during the Goth Festival (it is on the bucket list though)
14. I love wearing corsets.
15. When I was twelve, I developed an entirely irrational belief that a shark was going to crash through my bedroom window and eat me á la JAWS 3. My bedroom was on the first floor (second floor to USians) and our house was on a hill at least six miles from sea. Like I said, irrational.
16. I came up through a Catholic school system and am an avowed agnostic. The two are not unrelated.
17. I always wanted to be able to dance but I have two left feet.
18. Sex doesn't interest me but I'm fascinated by BDSM.
19. I really, really love how the internet has helped me befriend the most awesome people.
20. I want to be able to play the violin better and I keep back-sliding on it.
