Moving swiftly on....

I am apparently moving to Bristol! I went for a job interview yesterday at BioScientifica and it seemed to go well. Then they rang me back just as I reached Telford train station to offer me the job! The pay isn't brilliant and the thought of moving out and living on my own is very scary and expensive-sounding,

Moving into a shared house is probably something to consider. That way it's cheaper, and you've got a ready made set of people you know there (outside of work).

Oh, and ignore Darren. Guildford is the place to be ;-)

Haha, I'm sure they could. Guildford is mostly full of people who drive BMWs and live in houses where their garage is larger than my house.

Oh, well done!! Where is it you're moving to? Anyway, what Andrew said - consider a shared place. As for stuff, I suggest either getting stuff off your parents if they have spare kitchen stuff/bedding that they don't need, or...do you have freecycle? Because if so that can sometimes be good (if extremely frustrating because you'll get hundreds of e-mails trying to give away twenty cat leashes or such), and I used craigslist to get a cheap microwave and tv.
