Gotta check out that novel now... I got Tess from the library cuz I never read it in undergrad since it was too depressing.

seems like all japanese novels have weird sex stuff. One I read had a mother/way younger guy doing it, and another had younger girl/older woman action going on... I kinda think it's for shock value.
