Countdown to end of student teaching. Number 5

rofl. There was another moment that I forgot to put on the list but I thought you'd appreciate. The other day a girl sitting behind a guy kicked his seat and he shouted, "What the hell??" After I told them both to see me after class (and there were about 4 students left packing up), I told him he needed to not say that in my class. He expressed wonder that I thought that was a bad word (which I didn't say) and another student asked me, "Are you a Christian?" I was wondering what being a Christian had to do with requiring polite language in the classroom...and I said yes, I was, but that it wasn't polite/appropriate to say those sort of words in class. Then the girl proceeded to tell me she's a Christian too, and that she has a "potty mouth" despite being one. I had no comment to that. Then another student (one of the absolute worst behaved) chimed in that he was a Christian too. I wondered whether he was just joining the bandwagon...

I can imagine it now Hetalia style, mwahahaha. I bet he'd have dead fish eyes like Gin-chan. lol
