This weekend, I decided moving my mini fridge from its place on the floor to the top of one of my dressers would be a good idea. I was wrong

*snuggles gently*That is so bad...dislocated arms hurt so much!!!*shudders*I'm glad you went to a doctor, though, it's always safest to have someone specialised look at it!!*snuggles more*I hope you'll be a bit better soon,my me sweet one!♥
*hugs* thanks...yeah it hurts, ive got tons of pain meds but they make me pretty nauseated so i have avoided them so far tonight. ill take a sleeping pill and that will be it. anyway, yeah...im basically the one armed woman for a while since i cant use my right arm at all, its in a sling for at least a week. goodtimes. lol.
omg i hope you will get better soon! Sounds very painful indeed! Get some rest and i'll be thinking of you, mellon nin. ::sends Rangers with athelas to you fro comfort:: ;)
thanks...doctor says about a week or two of heal time and then i can ditch this sling. It does hurt, and its annoying more than anything else. Oh yeah....rest is on the menu...I have sleeping pills *is so happy*
OMG, I'm so sorry to hear you did that dear *poke huggles gently* I hope you can get some quick relief! it can't be fun going to class and such in that kind of shape...and showering is probably challenging :s do you want me to send some flannel over to help you? if there is anything I can do please let me know!! I can send charm over!
*one-armed hugs back* I have a boatload of meds they gave me, but its been making me so dizzy/high/nauseated that I am avoiding taking them as much as I can. :P Oh you are so right...showering and makeup and even putting socks on are like Olympic sports for me right now. It's so hard. And I hate asking for help all the time :P Lucky Bear has been trying to help out (providing a soft pillow of stuff and fluff for the injured arm to rest on) and the Tiggers have been cheering me up. :) In the meantime I have become the world's best one handed typist. Its so a new skill I might even add to my resume some day. LOL!
ps...I never knew there was a shift key on both sides of the keyboard until yesterday. The things we learn.
aw, well, I'm glad you're getting some flannel help, and I'm sure your friends don't mind helping you dear - I think you deserve some tlc after doing that and not even noticing for a while :p Did they give you a time line for how long your arm will be imobilisied?
lol you're so funny someitmes - I really miss that silliness ;)
:) They have been great, though it still bothers me to ask for help all the time, especially for things like writing my own name on the attendance logs and stuff.Anyways...about a week or two, I've been told, as long as the inflammation goes down. And then a bit of light physical therapy to strengthen it up.
lol, i try and see the humorous and ironic sides to things as much as I can....it helps my normally pessimistic self stay balanced. :P
